Animals Don’t Have A Voice So You’ll Never Stop Hearing Mine Shirt
Hello Plymouth – yesterday I spoke in a debate about the cruel and inhumane badger cull that is happening right across our country, and prominently in Devon. Animals Don’t Have A Voice So You’ll Never Stop Hearing Mine Shirt we give them one, which is why it’s so important to stand up for them. Badgers are a protected species but with this cull and other dangers they face in the modern world, they could become threatened despite having been around in Britain for tens of thousands of years.

There are currently around 300,000 badgers living in the UK. 50,000 are killed each year on roads and last year alone, this cruel policy led to a further 20,000 badger deaths. Culling innocent badgers is not the right way to tackle the very real problem of bovine TB. Animals Don’t Have A Voice So You’ll Never Stop Hearing Mine Shirt! By focusing on badgers and not cattle, the government is failing farmers and rural communities. The science does not support a badger cull. There is no evidence that shows it can actually tackle the spread of bovine TB.

Yesterday I argued that there was no logical reason behind this cruel and inhumane policy, only an ideological one. Animals Don’t Have A Voice So You’ll Never Stop Hearing Mine Shirt! The government is relentlessly pushing forward with this policy so they look like they are doing something to combat bovine TB. But looking busy shouldn’t cost badgers their lives, especially when it serves no purpose whatsoever. Labour is the party of animal welfare, and our position is clear: we are opposed to the badger cull. A Labour government would immediately stop this cruel and uncaring policy.
