Fight on sunflower shirt
I would like to grow this. I’m wondering if they would grow by the water in Nova Scotia? I love sunflowers. That’s actually pretty cool but it’s a little too summary. I want my Christmas tree to be read and go and like sand cold stuff. This is beautiful, but I am not so sure about Christmas. Maybe it depends on where you live. If below the Fight on sunflower shirt it is seasonal, it can be pretty warm there at Christmas. I do, aster, butterfly bush, Mexican sunflower are a good late season flowering plants. In Texas along highways there are miles and miles of native pollinator wildflowers. The more habitat we contribute, the better it is for Monarchs.

I got the Southern tier covered, Lantana, Pentas, Mexican Petunia, Zinnia, Azalea, Yarrow, MexicanSunflower. I am planning on adding some later bloomers to my Fight on sunflower shirt beds next year! I’m going to add some nectar flowers to my seed bombs! So they all grow together! I live in southern Ontario, Canada and I’ve planted 2 more butterfly bushes giving me 4 now. I’ve had a few monarchs stop in for a feast before they’ve continued on their journey. I have another garden going in with more flowering plants for next year.

I planted my garden as a pollinator garden. Milkweed is a great pollinator, but I also have zinnia, Tithonia, Morning Glory (both native and non-native), salvia (it has reseeded EVERYWHERE), basil, peas, petunias, roses, Lantana, a pride of Barbados, Cigar Plant, hummingbird bush, and several others. My beds are 8’x4’ and I have dozens of potted plants. Both are important obviously, however it seems to be the opposite situation where I am here in western New York – I see milkweed here and there, but there are acres upon acres of Goldenrod. I wish we would all work to spread the flowers they need in ditches, rather than just on our property. Even in vacant lots.
