Giving friends of the designer unprecedented access to Lady Liberty—a monument von Furstenberg has championed through her philanthropic endeavors by raising an astounding $100 million for the museum Gronemeyer 20 Jahre Menschen Signature Shirt . She’s had a packed agenda as of late: the museum fêted its grand opening just two weeks ago, and tonight, she will partake in the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards—her last event as chair of the council. Regrouped and refreshed with Paloma cocktails and rosé, the crowd then headed indoors for an intimate tour of the Statue of Liberty Museum. Von Furstenberg called special attention to the glittering stars adorning the museum’s entrance; created by Duong, von Furstenberg secured $2 million donations per star to support building efforts. Park rangers then directed the group through an immersive and touching exhibition on the statue’s history. “Being who you are, I think that’s what the Statue of Liberty really stands for,” said CFDA president and CEO Steven Kolb. “I’m just glad to be here and have one more night with Diane before her chairmanship concludes, and in this special, wonderful place.” After the tour, the group sat down for an al fresco, picnic-style dinner on the terrace of the island’s Crown Cafe. As most of the guests took their seats to settle in for the meal, von Furstenberg visited each table to greet and thank the attendees.

Bought this for my grandson who is turning 11. Appears to be a good quality. I bought a Men’s small and worried that it might be too big but once I got it, I think it will be a great fit. Happy with it.

Being a cat lover I couldn’t resist this t shirt. I am the proud owner of 9 mountain t shirts so this makes number 10. All mountain t shirts are made of the highest quality. They wash well, do not go out of shape, shrink or go baggy; and if washed as per instructions there is no fading of the design, also they are suitable for tumble drying at medium temperature. The design is integrated into the shirt so nothing to rub off or disintegrate. The t shirts are thick cotton and loose fitted. This design is perfect for any cat lover.

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.

Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.

Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.

I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.
