Sublimation is the process of printing a special sublimation ink onto special sublimation transfer paper using a sublimation printing technique Ryan whitney pearson airport sucks shirt . Instead of traditional inkjet transfers which print ink on top of the t-shirt or item you’re working with, sublimation ink actually becomes a part of the substrate you’re printing on. How, you ask? It’s simple. Once the ink from your sublimation transfer paper is heat pressed onto the item you’re printing on, it opens up the pores of the fabric that you’re pressing heat onto. Once you press the paper onto your item and release pressure, the heat will cool and the ink will turn back into solid form. The result? The pores will close permanently and encapsulate the ink within the polymer coating of your men’s t-shirt or women’s t-shirt. So the ink turns from a solid to a gas and them back into a solid—it’s like your very own chem experiment! This process works wonders in our eyes because it ensures that the image you transfer onto your item won’t fade over time. The finish is also smooth, soft, and stylish because it literally becomes one with the substrate. This is perfect if you want to keep the soft-hand feel of the original garment. Another reason we love this process is the fact that it allows you to print full color transfers and heat press them onto your shirts instead of setting up tons of screens for traditional screen printing.

Good for price. Bargain/novelty use, medium to medium/light weight.
Good for general or novelty use, but these are not heavy-weight like upper-end graphic tees. If you want good and heavy t-shirts for work, these are not it.
For embroidering, these do need more stabilizing than the white heavy-duty t-shirts you can get at a certain warehouse store, but I needed a good choice of colors. The colors are rich and the ones I’ve received have had no blotches and the seams have been solid. But I do check every shirt before I work on it.
These do begin to show wear/age after 5-6 washings, but if you just need smart-looking shirts for events like workshops and birthdays, these will do!

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.
Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.
Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.
I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.
