Although promo tees had been around for a while Snoopy and Woodstock sometimes I just look up smile and say I know that was you shirt . the 1970s feel like the dawn of something special. The age of the printed t-shirt had arrived. It’s perhaps no coincidence that kingteeshops were born in the Seventies. Whilst that’s obviously a big deal for us, it’s also a pretty good indication of what was happening at the time. The adaptability and popularity of the t-shirt spawned a whole new industry. It was feasible to make a living from decorating them.
Snoopy and Woodstock sometimes I just look up smile and say I know that was you shirt, hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt
Back then we weren’t kingteeshops as such, just a bunch of friends who printed t-shirts by hand and sold them outside gigs in London Snoopy and Woodstock sometimes I just look up smile and say I know that was you shirt . Yes, we earned some cash, but the reason it turned into our business was because we loved it. And people loved what we did, there was a market for our work. A market that stretched beyond bands and their fans. T-shirts were great and t-shirts with artwork printed on them were even better. The t-shirt, this innocuously simple garment, was capable of transcending both its basic functionality and fashion. They were more than cheap and cheerful tops. T-shirts could carry a message, express the beliefs and emotional sentiments of the wearer. It might be a political or philosophical statement. Maybe something fun and frivolous, a silly slogan or crazy cartoon. In reality, it went beyond that. The t-shirt could be a work of art. Providing you had a gifted designer and talented screen printer, the possibilities seemed almost limitless.

Love this shirt! Fit as expected. I like my shirts a little loose.

This really gave my husband so much joy! He said it brought back a lot of memories for him since this was his favorite group when he was younger… he truly loved this shirt, so glad I got it! The picture and vibrancy that’s in this photo is as is, you get what you see!

Good for price. Bargain/novelty use, medium to medium/light weight.
Good for general or novelty use, but these are not heavy-weight like upper-end graphic tees. If you want good and heavy t-shirts for work, these are not it.
For embroidering, these do need more stabilizing than the white heavy-duty t-shirts you can get at a certain warehouse store, but I needed a good choice of colors. The colors are rich and the ones I’ve received have had no blotches and the seams have been solid. But I do check every shirt before I work on it.
These do begin to show wear/age after 5-6 washings, but if you just need smart-looking shirts for events like workshops and birthdays, these will do!

Perfect if you have a husband like mine who is willing to dress up but not go all out. My son wanted to be an astronaut so I went as an alien and found this little number so my husband could be mission control.
