KRISTEN STEWART GOES PANTLESS FOR SPRING

Kristen Stewart is declaring spring to be the season of no pants.

It started with a Rolling Stone cover, where the actor sported nothing but a jockstrap and leather vest. Of course, going pantless is a bit easier to do when you’re on the set of a photoshoot, in a controlled environment where you don’t have to face people who don’t understand the context of why you’re not wearing pants. But that hasn’t stopped Stewart from embracing the kind of daunting, runway-favorite look in her everyday life.

For the premiere of her new film, “Love Lies Bleeding,” Stewart wore what might have been her most scantily-clad outfit yet: a dramatically high-cut, backless bodysuit by Bettter paired simply with sheer black Wolford tights and a barely-visible blazer draped behind her.

She took it one step further this week, extending the look beyond the red carpet and into her daywear. She was photographed in New York wearing cashmere knit briefs — a.k.a. the underwear of dreams — from Brunello Cucinelli’s Spring 2024 collection.

Stewart’s stylist, Tara Swennen, paired the underwear-pants-alternative with a simple poplin button-up blouse from the same collection over a nude Victoria’s Secret bra. She accessorized with dark cherry red loafers, nude Wolford tights, a black Chanel vanity case and orange-tinted shades from Oliver Peoples.

She wasn’t done with the no-pants agenda or the papped strolls, though: Stewart later changed into black boyshorts with a white border and a matching baby T-shirt with puffed, knit sleeves and a tiny “CC” logo at the center of its neckline — by Chanel, of course. (She’s a longtime ambassador.)

This time, she added cherry-toned heels from Le Silla and Chanel-branded leg warmers. (It can get chilly later in the day!) She kept the same vanity case, and swapped her earlier-in-the-day sunglasses for a pair of blacked-out Ray-Bans.

It’s not a trend, it’s a lifestyle.
