I Love Being A Nana T-shirt
I had a rescue chick once when we lived in Hawaii. He slept in my shirt, also in the I Love Being A Nana T-shirt. He went everywhere with me and followed me like I was his mother. Then one day he started to loose his little yellow feathers and got really ugly. Templeton wasn’t a chicken after all but a turkey

When I was in 11th grade my parents bought a farm in Morristown TN—decided they were farmers. Mom rescued two chickens off a chicken truck, and named them Henry and I Love Being A Nana T-shirt. They lived in the chicken coop close to the farm house. Those chickens followed us everywhere, as did the other critters, especially on walks. Walking single file on the path through the woods, my parents, the bull calf, Duke, (ridiculously tame), the 2 dogs scampered alongside, the cat hiding from one tree, or shrub to another, and those chickens clucking behind. What a menagerie, and great memory. They were all apart of our family.

Joyce Parks Pitchlynn awww thanks. What a fun idea! We look back at that I Love Being A Nana T-shirt. Our children grew up there and it was so charming, unique and fun. We had 5 cats, 30 hens, 8 roosters, 2 parakeets, a dwarf bunny named Meep, raised queen bees and of course our turkey .Four of our chickens LOVED to sleep in the BBQ by the herb garden. We finally just let them have it
