Foil printing was massive fifteen years ago [eh Life Is Golden With My Doodle Goldendoodle Dog Shirt … 25 years ago! – Ed], back in the days of George Michael and Flashdance. However, it fizzled out as full colour ink screen printing developed and improved. The last few years has seen metallics and thus foil printing become cool once again so we thought we’d share a little inside info on it. Without a doubt, it’s a little different from regular screen printing as we are essentially applying another layer on top of the conventional plastisol ink, which operates as an adhesive for the foil coating. The method is similar. A screen is burned, fitted and the garment screen printed with a natural plastisol ink which operates as an adhesive. Once the shirt is dried as usual, the foil wrapping is then applied to the print area and heat pressed to seal it to the adhesive, much like one would with a transfer. The surrounding foil is removed leaving a sharp shiny foil print in its place.Available in gold and silver, there are many different techniques that can be applied to the print to make it stand out further. Decent Tees
I’ve ordered these 10 or 12 times in different colors. Haven’t had any problems with them being rough or scratchy or seams coming undone. I live in the south so they are plenty heavy enough. I would call them a medium weight cotton. After washing and drying they’re still longer than the other brands I’ve tried from Walmart. I like my Tees over-sized so I order a xxxl. For the price I cant complain

Well made, looks good as plain white t-shirt, excellently priced.

Nothing fancy, but a well made, inexpensive comfortable, mid to heavy weight plain white t-shirt. Floridians and those in warm climates might find it uncomfortable to wear as an undershirt– but perfect as a regular going around outside t-shirt year round. Heavier (and should be longer lasting) than a simple haines or jockey white thin undershirt. The white is very white, I am ordering grey today. I would buy these at double the price on Amazon.
