Vintage 1969 shirt
The Number of the Vintage 1969 shirt– This album introduced me to the world of metal. Up until this point I was listening to New Wave, and Post-Punk music, then a friend played me this album, and I was like WTF is this? I have to buy it, and I did the next day, that was the summer of ’82! Deep Purple and Machine Head. The first album I ever bought from a local record store with my own cash. I replaced it three times as I wore each copy out through lots of play. KISS Alive was the first metal album I heard and it blew me away so much that I became a huge fan of the band. I am sorry but I can’t qualify.

Heavy Metal didn’t exist when I was a Vintage 1969 tshirt. Yardbirds was the closest to maybe that style of music. What real music fan especially heavy music could ever pick just one album or even band. I was influenced monthly and still have emotional reactions to dozens of recording from 78’ to 88’ and many years beyond. Forgot how much I loved Mind Funk until I listened yesterday and forced my son to listen too! When shout at the devil came out and looks that will hit the airwaves it single-handedly killed Darryl hall and john oats from airplay in my Iowa city. That changed everything.
